t5m’s presenter Bella Crane got chatting to Adrien Missika of the 1m3 Gallery at Zoo Art Fair, hosted this year at the Royal Academy of Arts.
‘We don’t represent artists as a gallery, we work every time with different artists as an art centre.’ Adrien makes it very clear that they don’t go by the rule book.
With a core team of four, it allows them to bring a greater diversity to the gallery and bounce ideas off one another. One example is this piece ‘Puddle Painting’, which was made horizontally and encompasses layers upon layers of paint, varnish and glitter, with a splattering of golf ball.
