I decided to set myself a challenge. I was going to complete a bike ride around New York and San Francisco and I wouldn’t even need my passport.
How you may ask, well thanks to the VRX-Biking Class I attended, I got the chance to do just that.

Using a Trixter X-Bike, I cycled in front of a visual screen that takes you through a set course, there are 6 in total. It’s pre-recorded, which means if you want to take a break that’s fine, the programme will still continue and you can pick it up when you’re ready. This allows you to work at your own pace, so you don’t have to worry about trying to keep up with the screen or other people. It’s up to you to make it as hard or easy as you like by adjusting the resistance settings.
There’s a lot of movement involved during the course including occasionally jumping over bumps. But the best bit for me is that the handle bars move, allowing you to turn corners and weave in and out of traffic.
This really gives your upper body a total work out, plus you can burn up to 500 calories during a half hour class.

Neil a ‘Trixter Master Trainer’ has this advice for anyone wanting to try a class.

Make sure your resistance is correct for you.
Work out to your own intensity.
Use your upper body.

It’s challenging and you’re really pushed to your limit. So be prepared to feel the burn, I know I did.
