Ok, so am I the only person who misses this show? I know everything has to come to an end, but Friends was one of the greatest sitcoms of the 90s. Don’t you agree?
The crazy situations that all of them found themselves in: Phoebe getting engaged to a ‘gay’ ice dancer, to realise that he really isn’t gay, Chandler’s off again on again relationship with Janice, Monica’s ‘Jam plan’, Joey’s seemingly endless one night stands and Rachel and Ross’s ‘We were on a break!’ monologue. We’ve followed the lives of all 6 of them throughout the 10 seasons, and we all at least have one favourite, right?
I’ve watched Friends so much and I never get tired of it. As of now, the reruns still air, and I still tune into watch like I’m expecting a new episode next week.
Why I believe it’s such a good show is the fact that the ‘Friends’ gang have quirks that make them stand out. Ross’s over enunciation of words, Phoebe’s extreme randomness, Joey’s obsession with women, Chandler’s insecurity, commitment problems, and inappropriate jokes, Monica’s obsessive compulsiveness, and Rachel’s pushover quality. It’s like we can kind of see ourselves in all of them; and that’s what makes it so interesting to watch; it’s not just a situation comedy, but it’s a little mirror into our own lives.
Who doesn’t like watching something that you can see your own self in? It makes it more empathetic, and I believe that is the secret to why Friends was and even still is popular until now.
I’ve babbled enough about Friends; for the ones who don’t know what I’m talking about have a little look on the tube of you (YouTube) and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Shows like these really make me miss the 90s.

You are absolutely right. Friends bloopers are even funnier than the actual episodes.
