Eleven housemates joined the winner of this year’s Big Brother, Josie Gibson, last night to take part in Ultimate Big Brother.
First in the house was divorcee Chantelle Houghton and her ex husband Preston from Celebrity BB 4. While the pair appear to be on speaking terms they seemed surprised to see each other and spending 24/7 locked in a house tensions are sure to arise.
The third person into the house was Nadia Almada, winner of BB5, who said she decided to come on the show for a holiday? Following Nadia was BB2 winner Brian Dowling and Ulrika Johnson who won Celebrity BB6. On entering the house the former weather girl told Josie that her ten-year-old daughter hoped they could be best friends.
Next in the house was Makosi, most famously known for getting it on with Anthony in the hot tub and claiming she was having his baby. She was followed by John Mccririck , the sports commentator who irritated fellow Celebrity BB 3 housemates with his sexist comments, dirty habits and laziness. John will certainly shake things up in the house and make compulsive viewing.
Next was Coolio who appeared alongside Ulrika in Celebrity BB6, tantrum fuelled Nikki Grahaeme (BB7) who was put in her place as soon as she entered the house by John, and Nick Bateman, aka Nasty Nick (BB1), who has promised to abide by the rules this time round.
With the mix of contestants Ultimate BB is set to be an explosive, drama filled two weeks of hell for the new housemates, but is sure to be reality TV at its best.

Bob Righter today set the housemates a shopping task that requires them to act unpredictably.
BB woke the housemates this morning with Bob Righter’s theme music and they soon discovered posters featuring the fortune teller and bearing cryptic clues dotted around the house.
The housemates where then called to the sofas to watch a video of Bob coming to life at night and wandering around the house, chatting with Davina McCaw and the Tree of Temptation before hiding an envelope in a briefcase and placing it in the garden.
For the task housemates will have to avoid fulfilling 15 predictions made by Bob Righter on how he expects them to act within the next three days to win a luxury shopping budget. The predictions are locked in the briefcase and must be guarded by two people at all times.
Housemates will also be set nine individual and several group challenges throughout the task.
In other news…
- John James has won for his clothes to be dry cleaned after coming first in a task entitled Rate my Mates yesterday, which involved rating housemates from most to least in various categories. Housemates were called to the diary room to compile their own ratings. and Big Brother then put a board by the sofas for each housemate to correctly guess the average rating everyone received in a particular category. Sam and Josie claimed the most titles, with Sam being named as the most attention-seeking, bitchiest and fakest housemate, while Josie received the most entertaining, least bitchy and least desperate to win.
- Sam and Josie have fallen out again after she spotted the graffiti artist stealing Corin’s make-up bag for the second time. Josie told Corin what she had seen which prompted the Katie price look-alike to stage a protest outside in the smoking area until the bag was returned to her. Fortunately Corin located the make-up bag within the five minutes BB had given her before she needed to return to the sofa for a task. Corin confronted Sam and told him not to take her things. Sam remained quiet, with only JJ and John James coming to his defence.
- John James has said he would give the £100,000 prize money to Josie if he won BB. While he admitted that winning is unlikely, he told the other housemates he wouldn’t keep the prize money and originally intended to give it to charity or to split it between housemates.
- Bookies have predicted that Sam, Corin and Josie will be in the final three.

- BB sent Sam to bed in the early hours of this morning after he carried out a number of mischievous pranks as payback for JJ and John James stealing his collection of hats last night. However one of Sam’s pranks back fired when JJ noticed the chilli in the toothpaste.

Sam will go up against Jo, JJ and Dave to face the public vote on Friday.
Housemates Mario, Jo and JJ received the most nominations yesterday and took place in a Save and Replace game called Animal Quackers. Dave was banned from competing as a punishment for discussing nominations again.
The task involved the housemates listening to animal noises individually in the diary room. They then had to repeat the animal noises back to Big Brother in the correct sequence.
JJ remembered 6 animals in sequence, Jo 11 animals, and Mario 22 animals, saving himself from the public vote for the second time in two weeks.
Shopping task
For this week’s shopping task the housemates will be pairing up to become pantomime horses. The ‘horsemates’ will be put to the test by competing in three rounds to find the ultimate Pantomime Horse of the Year.
Two housemates will become trainers, responsible for breaking the ‘horsemates’ in, while the four pantomime horses will take part in a series of challenges, with the losing horse being eliminated.
Round one- Bleep test.
Round two- A question of horse, a quiz consisting of three parts
The four housemates inside the two remaining pantomime horses will spend the night in a luxurious foal hole and compete in a final trial tomorrow.

John James, Rachel and Dave are up for eviction from the house this week.
Dave was chosen by Mario to face the public vote after he won yesterday’s Save and Replace task which saw nominated housemates racing in Velcro bug suits along a giant bug paper stretched along the garden.
However after the task Mario said he regretted choosing Dave and wished the decision could be reversed. The former mole said he felt he had let Dave down as he was one of his good friends in the house.
John James, Mario and Rachel received the most votes from their housemates during Monday’s nominations. Mario received five votes, while John James and Rachel got four votes each.
The reasons housemates gave were Mario’s temper tantrums, that John James was always in bed with Josie and Rachel was too loud.
Meanwhile it seems Corin and JJ are giving Josie and John James a run for their money after they spent the night together in the same bed.
Housemates teased the pair about sharing a bed, warning JJ that Corin fancied him. JJ said it didn’t matter as he would share a bed with anyone if they asked.
Despite Corin saying she felt embarrassed she told JJ she hadn’t had a cuddle in months, to which he replied I’m good at cuddling.

Jo - 41 from Luton describes herself as a cougar and plans to get her claws into one of the BB housemates who will need to treat her like a queen. The make-up artist admits she is very lazy and at her happiest spinning tunes as DJ Naked. She has lived alone for seven years and says she likes her own space. She has never had a relationship apart from the one that she has with God.
JJ - a 23 year old boxer from London, is set to create rivalry between himself and John James, who admitted to feeling threatened by the new housemate and consequently changed into his football t-shirt, which Josie loves. Shabby left the Big Brother house yesterday afternoon at15:08 after much deliberation.
Her decision to quite the show followed an explosive argument between her, Caoimhe and Ife the night before when Ife accused the girls of making fun of her dancing during a Big brother party for the winners of the basketball task.
Ife told Caoimhe and Shabby that they were bullies and just like the Mean Girls from school.
After a shouting match Caoimhe and Shabby preceded to the diary room to ask to leave the house. The girls were told to come back in the morning to confirm their decision.
Caoimhe decided she would stay another day in the house, whereas Shabby said she had had enough and left without saying goodbye to her fellow housemates.
Caoimhe has now said that she doesn’t know if she can cope without Shabby and may leave before Friday’s eviction.
