So yesterday we reported that Derek Hough’s BFF Mark Ballas had confirmed that Cheryl Cole and Derek Hough were ‘just good friends’.

But here at The Collective Review we weren’t convinced, so it gives us great pleasure (ok we’re a bit smug) to report that Cheryl adores her man!

The Geordie singer gushed about Hough in publication Through My Eyes: “Derek is a sweetheart – the kind of person who makes the day more enjoyable… and that’s important.”

So to recap Chezza gets close to Derek whilst filming for her album ‘3 words’, the pair holiday together in Tanzania, the Girl’s Aloud singer catches malaria and only allows select people to visit her including Derek, Derek’s Dancing with the Stars co-star says that the couple ‘are just good friends’, then to round up the week Cheryl writes in her book that she adores Derek.
