Oh no it seems things are getting steadily worse for Miss Hilton. The heiress who was due to attend a press conference to promote her Fashion range in Japan had to cancel her plans after airport officials refused to allow the reality star entry to the country.
Paris was stopped at the border when Japanese airport staff wanted to question the wild child about her recent conviction for cocaine possession in Las Vegas last month.
A source told WENN: “She was questioned by a Tokyo customs officer for many hours to determine whether they should allow her to enter Japan as they can reject people convicted by drug cases to enter our country.
“It seems at the moment that Japanese customs will not allow her to enter our country due to her arrest for cocaine possession in Las Vegas last month.”
Paris had jetted off to Tokyo with younger sister Nicky on a business trip for her fashion range shortly after the conviction. But has been forced to call off her press meeting which was due to be held today (22Sep10).
Paris’s representative, Dawn Miller, has a statement saying: “Paris Hilton was delayed by immigration authorities at a Japanese airport this evening after arriving for business obligations planned many months earlier.
“Paris was contractually bound to her business trip and didn’t want to let down her brands and many Asian fans.”
It looks like Paris may have to wait a while before her next batch of jet-setting.
