British footballing sensation David Beckham proves he’s no diva by taking part in a hilarious spoof as part of the Ellen DeGeneres show. The joke involved him going to a masseuse to get a ‘massage’ , and following orders via earpiece from Ellen back in the studio. He proceeds to make ridiculous demands of the poor masseuse, some so ridiculous she visibly struggles not to laugh.
The video sees David request to be called Ricky, then ask to do some ‘cleansing breaths’. He then goes on to ask the masseuse to use her index fingers only, not her thumbs as he “hates thumbs”.
Lastly ‘Ricky’ asks her to hum ‘Happy Birthday’ close to his muscles, as he finds it very relaxing, whilst singing along. At this point the masseuse is really fighting back the giggles, unsure what to make of David.
Thank goodness he revealed the hidden camera towards the end, we couldn’t quite take any more of this cringey, yet hilarious prank. At least our Beckham has a good sense of humour! This video is unmissable.
