Christine Bleakley has been given a 3 year, 6 million pound contract by ITV after the £900,000 offer from the BBC was removed from the table, says the Mail Online. Christine and Adrian Chiles will be enthroned on the GMTV sofa, revamping the morning TV show. Adrian will be replacing Ben Shephard who the Mirror has claimed was rumoured to be frustrated by the lack of communication from the bosses about the presenting team. Replacing Adrian Chiles on the One Show is Chris Evans but finding someone for Christine’s job is proving difficult. Possibles include Melanie Sykes, Emma Bunton, Gaby Roslin, Myleene Klass. However, the BBC aren’t in a rush to find someone yet though as Christine doesn’t leave the show until September.
Bleakley has recently been seen taking a relaxing holiday with footballer boyfriend, Frank Lampard. The pair later joined Louise and Jamie Redknapp where they were spotted by the pool in Sardinia, enjoying each others’ company. Louise and Christine both looked tanned, toned and gorgeous in their bikinis. Christine seems to have been heartily welcomed into the clan but she has had to dispell rumours that she is engaged to Frank. Rumours were rife when Christine was seen wearing a sparkly ring on her engagement finger when leaving his place. I guess we will have to wait and see how this develops.
