It has been announced that Cheryl Cole lookalike, Rachel Shenton is to join the cast of Hollyoaks. You might recognise the  actress from popular TV shows; Holby City, Doctors and Waterloo Road.

In the village of Hollyoaks, Rachel will be playing Mitzee, a wannabe WAG who moves to Cheshire to achieve this dream. Mitzee will be a bit of a trouble maker who will shake things up. Rachel told Heat that she has no desire to become a WAG and she certainly doesn’t act like one. Bringing in Rachel is  part of Producer of Hollyoaks, Paul Marquess overhaul where he introducing viewers to three new families this summer to reinvigorate the soap. Fans and admirers of ex-Hollyoaker Ricky Whittle who played Calvin Harris will be pleased to find that he will be hitting our screens soon. Ricky is going to be starring in the BBC1 series Candy Cabs with Claire Sweeney and Jodie Prenger. The Mail Online states that Candy Cabs is going to be on our screen later this year and Ricky will be playing a footballer.

Whilst Rachel Shendon will be doing her best to convince us of her WAG credentials in her new role, Cheryl is showing us how to do classy, stylish lady. At the first X Factor auditions, The Mirror snapped Cheryl wearing super-short bright orange dress and Louboutin heels, looking radiant. I wonder what Cheryl will think about having a lookalike????
