Derek Hough’s best friend has confirmed that his dancer pal and X-Factor judge Cheryl Cole are NOT dating.
The couple (we mean good friends) enjoyed their first holiday together to Tanzania shortly after Cheryl split with her love-rat husband Ashley Cole.
Derek, 25, was also one of the selected few people allowed to see the ‘3 words’ singer when she was in intensive care battling malaria.
But Berek’s BFF and Dancing with the Stars co-star Mark Ballas, still insists that the showbiz pair are not an item.
Ballas told Heat magazine: “Just because they are both hot and are a good act things get distorted when couples dance together. Derek is very professional and keeps things that way. That’s all they are- friends.
“He (Derek) is dating other people. He’s working really hard and dating.”
We don’t know holidaying together, dancing together, visiting each other in hospital, sounds like another case of celebrities in relationship denial.
