It seems X Factor Winner Joe McElderry’s brave decision to come out has earnt him a whole new army of fans.

The singer revealed that thousands of fans had taken to Twitter to wish him well and show their support.

A series of celebs have also come forward to show their support to the 19 year old singer. Dannii Minogue, Matt Lucas and Will Young have all contacted Joe to wish him well and mentor Cheryl has been behind the singer 100 %, reportedly offering advice and support to the young star.
