After settling into life in the Big Brother house, housemates were presented with their first shopping task yesterday (11th June).
The task saw thirteen out of the fourteen housemates lifted 40ft above the Big Brother house for a three course lunch. Sunshine, who suffers from extreme vertigo, pleaded with the group to be the one housemate to remain on the ground for a game of charades which would determine the group’s shopping budget.
The housemates who took to the air were given glamorous costumes to change into, apart from Mario who was told he must remain in his mole outfit, and then strapped into chairs around a dinner table suspended above the house.
Sunshine had to paint five pictures on a pad in the garden beneath the housemates from clues in a box. The clues contained phrases the newspapers had used to describe the housemates and Sunshine had to depict these using pictures. The clues were- big boobed babe, squatter, boring old one, hunky trio and wannabees.
After failing to guess most of the charades correctly the housemates will receive £200 towards a premium shopping budget.
Meanwhile suspicions of Mario the mole are growing among the housemate after he completed the first part of his impossible task. Following Big Brother’s instructions Mario blew up an inflatable beach ball which he wrote incriminating messages on and left in the garden for his fellow housemates to find. On discovering the ball John James said he thought BB had brought it in as he doubted anyone else would have been able to throw the ball over the garden fence. Mario attempted to distract the housemates and seemed to have fooled most of the girls, but his time in the house looks like it could be limited.
