Katherine Jenkins looked as angelic as her voice at last night’s The Classical BRIT Awards held in London’s Royal Albert Hall, in a floor length lilac gown and vintage-inspired Lulu Guiness clutch. t5m caught up with the Welsh singer-supremo on the red carpet to talk about everything from red carpet fashion, to her performance with Plácido Domingo and her hopes for a third ‘NS&I Best Album” win.
Katherine also told us how important she thought it was for ‘classical crossover’ artists such as herself to introduce people to the sometimes inaccessible world of classical music, as well as choosing opera favourite ‘Nesun Dorma’ as her ultimate track to convert people to the ‘classical realm’.
Stay tuned to t5m for all of the red carpet news from last night’s The Classical BRIT awards.
