Classical pianist James Rhodes stopped for a few words on the red carpet at The Classical BRITs nominations, to discuss his performance that evening and his hopes for winning an award in May.

The nominations ceremony, held at the Mayfair Hotel, saw Katherine Jenkins take to the stage to perform in duet with newcomer Faryl Smith, and James himself also performed a piano piece. the evening was hosted by Mykeene Klass, stunning in British design, from her Stephen Jones Union Jack top hat to her slinky Vivienne Westwood dress.

James Rhodes also shared his excitement to be performing at Camden’s Roundhouse this May, the first solo classical artist ever to perform at the iconic venue.
