Australian songstress Gabriela Cilmi spoke to us before she gave her opening performance at the BRITs Nomination Launch at the Roundhouse tonight.

“It feels really, really crazy… I can’t even believe that I’m nominated for any award here.” She tells t5m how Britain has come to feel like home and how she enjoyed playing the festival circuit over the summer.

All of this, and she’s still only 17. “I keep on waiting for my eighteenth birthday but it takes forever to come.”
