Florence Welch on her forthcoming album, due to be recorded in a synagogue, with or without an indoor forest!
Florence spoke to us about her hopes for her new album following her Critics’ Choice BRIT award, and the pressure of being this year’s hotly tipped act. “I try not to pay attention. No one knows what’s going to happen in 2009 do they?”
She also reveals to us just who, exactly, The Machine is. “The Machine is just places and people and songs and instruments and… it’s all kinds of things, it always changes.”
And finally Florence’s, top unusual place to perform? “A forest, that’d be pretty cool… underwater, that’d be weird.”
