My iPhone 3GS on my desk went from the coolest phone ever to yesterday’s news as Steve Jobs proudly presented the iPhone 4 last night. Apple have used their 3 year experience and taken the iPhone a large step further. Further than we thought was possible.
What are the best features? I don’t know where to start!
It’s made from stainless steel and glass. The same used for helicopters and high speed trains, so surely it will not crack or scratch as easily? And just in case the worst happens, you can recycle it. It is apparently recyclable! Also the main critic of the old iPhone was that it was not very good at … well making calls. But the stainless steel helps conducting phone’s signal! So that problem has vanished !
The screen has a 326 pixels per inch. Making it the highest-resolution phone screen ever!
I could go on quite a while, but the last and probably most important thing Apple absolutely needed to do was improve battery life. And they have! So thanks to the A4 battery we now have 300 hour standby battery life. Better than the present 6 hours life.
So it’s all good. Apple have impressed us yet again.
