Simon Fuller, the Pop Idol visionary and CEO of 19 Mangement (The Spice Girls) was among the highly acclaimed music executives to be heralded at the MMF’s 2008 annual awards dinner. On screen tributes from Prince Charles, Gordon Brown, Bono and David Beckham substantiated his achievements.

Fuller was presented with his award by Annie Lennox on an evening that included a performance by his self created star, Will Young. The night also championed the commitments of Ron Fair (President of Geffen Records and inspiration to artists ranging from The Black Eyed Peas to Christian Aguilera), Terry McBride (Fouding CEO of Nettwerk Management and the man behind Dido and The Stereophonics), and the founding chairman of the MMF, Dennis Muirhead, all of whom had plenty to say to t5m.
