We like the sound of Naomi Campbell’s charity work – teaming up with a millionaire hotelier, being dressed in unique, Indian-inspired designs from fashion powerhouses including Dolce & Gabanna and then being lauded as being responsible for world peace. Yes, really.

Miss Campbell and Indian hotelier Vikram Chatwal have joined forces to put on a glittering catwalk show in Mumbai, celebrating both the opening of Lakme Fashion Week and raising money for Citizens for Justice and Peace - a charity which provides relief in light of the 26/11 Mumbai terrorist attacks. The show is part of Naomi’s ‘Fashion for Relief’ project, which she founded in 2005 to galvanize the fashion community to lend it’s resources and support in times of crisis and need.

It looks set to be a truly star-studded event, as one would expect from la Campbell, with Zac Posen and Roberto Cavalli amongst some of the designers involved, and an as-yet unrevealed cast of models to join Naomi on the catwalk.

We cannot wait to see Naomi’s take on Bollywood glamour.
