t5m are feeling particularly smug today – having stumbled across a transatlantic gem – in the form of ‘femcee’ (that’s female MC) Mz Streamz.
We’ve always had soft spot for a woman that can MC – be it Lauryn Hill, MC Lyte or Miss.Dynamite, and now we can add this Baltimore-based lyricist to our list. She literally spits fire on her track ‘ Tear it up’ which is featured on Aaron LaCrate’s new album ‘B-More Club Crack’; cannabalising pop friendly lyrics over a minimal, hip hop friendly 130bpm.
Rumour has it Mz Streamz is heading our way soon – and if hip hop isn’t your thing – you can always marvel at her ghetto-fabulous outfits and seriously impressive make-up.
