We’ve gone mad for 18 year old Pixie Lott, who looks set to dominate British music this year with her authentic, breathy brand of memorable pop.
She’s a sort of mix between Duffy’s retro soul and Amy’s unique vocals – and, despite not having released anything yet, she was mobbed outside this year’s BRITs afterparty at Claridge’s – a sure sign she is set for big things!
Her influences include everyone from Mariah to Lauryn Hill and we can’t wait to hear what she has come up with when she releases her debut album in the summer; and we bet her 12068 friends on Myspace can’t either…
