The Grammy’s rocked LA on Sunday, with all the biggest names in the music industry gracing the red carpet. One name that was missed was Chris Brown, who was allegedly involved in an assault earlier that day. Girlfriend Rihanna was also absent from the awards show, wrecking plans for a duet performance.
Justin Timberlake and Al Green wowed the crowd with their performance of the classic ‘Let’s stay together.’ Other joint performances included Robin Thicke, Lil’ Wayne and Allen Toussaint’s collaboration, which had the audience on their feet. Lil’ Wayne also performed alongside Kanye West, T.I. and Jay-Z for ‘Swagger like us.’
Jennifer Hudson performed ‘You pulled me through’ at the awards last night, where the artist also won the Grammy for ‘Best R&B album.’ Alicia Keys was awarded with ‘Best female R&B vocal performance’ with Ne-Yo winning ‘Best male R&B vocal performance.’
