Jay Sean announced exclusively backstage last night that he’s joining Lil Wayne at the world famous Cash Money Records.

Jay revealed the news to us last night backstage at the MOBO awards after his performances. It was pretty exciting, and backstage was buzzing as we were the first to hear the news.

It was actually confirmed during his performance! And he announced it as soon as he came off stage. The signing shows that Cash Money is branching out into R&B and international acts.

The Ride It star can start expecting ‘A Milli’ a la Lil Wayne, who won the Best Hiphop award last night. Jay also shared his thoughts on black music and the credit crunch. Sorry, make that ‘recession’.

There are loads more exclusive interviews up on the channel today. Have a look at Grace Jones vogueing it up backstage, and see interviews with Jamelia, Estelle, Chipmunk and Mary Wilson, and many, many more.

Of course we got them ALL to sign an autographed record for our t5m MOBO competition, enter here.
