Apple have just released their Magic Trackpad, signalling the death of the mouse and an end to repetitive strain injury.

The Magic Trackpad is wireless, 80% bigger than the trackpads already on Macs and able to work at a distance of up to ten metres.

It’s predicted that eventually, technological developments could see the Trackpad replace both mouse and keyboard. Based on a similar idea to the iPhone or iPad, the trackpad would only make visible the relevant controls needed for the application you are using.

The Magic Trackpad is now available on Apple’s online store, costing £59.00
