We’ve got a brother and sister music special for you tonight, as we release two very exclusive in depth interviews.

We have a new channel each for musical siblings Martha and Rufus Wainwright, both born into revered musical dynasty.

Their father, Loudon Wainwright III, is hailed as both the ‘American songwriting legend’ and as the ‘new Bob Dylan’, while their mother and aunt formed the folk duo Kate & Anna McGarrigle.

Rufus is promoting his debut opera Prima Donna and Martha has now released her second solo album, I Know You’re Married But I’ve Got Feelings Too. Surely one of the best album titles, ever.

Check out Rufus’ channel and Martha’s channel for more exclusive interviews.

Fleet Foxes in London

t5m Insider was at Shepherd’s Bush Empire last night to see The Fleet Foxes perform with J. Tillman, who happens to double as their drummer. The house was completely packed with an anxious audience, waiting to see the Seattle-based band.

J. Tillman opened the show with a solo set on guitar, which he plays just as well as any drummer could. His lone voice sounded through the theatre enveloping the crowd in his soulful vocals and dispassionate lyrics.

The rest of the band joined their drummer to kick off their show with the bare harmonies of Sun Giant , and hit every high point possible from there, including lead singer Robin Pecknold’s acoustic version of an old Scottish folk poem.

A hushed reverie that followed gleeful recognition seemed to be the theme for the evening, from the moment that the skulk of foxes emerged for their amazing set.

The Fleet Foxes played an earlier show on the 5 November, which was also sold out, both in under 24 hours. The boys casually joked about many things onstage last night, including buying a country and naming it Foxlandia…whose national anthem is White Winter Hymnal… that’s my kind of country.
