The most important thing to do on the Grammys red carpet is to stand out; and the stars who flocked to the glamorous LA event last week did just that.
A very-pregnant MIA was outlandish in a revealing Henry Holland dress (similar to the one cool cat Alice Dellal wore to the Elle Style Awards.) Zooey Deschanel also went with a British designer – albeit a much more demure floral Luella dress in lilac and gold.
Also flying the flag for the Brits, actress Kate Beckinsale was looking stunning in a black and pink fishtail gown by Reem Acra and Duffy showed up in a simple Alberta Ferretti shift dress.
Mini-dresses were out in full force too, with Paris Hilton and Gywneth Paltrow both opting for short and sparkling Versace numbers.
Success story of the evening has to be Jennifer Hudson, who dazzled in a sophisticated, monotone RM by Roland Mouret frock – offset with a pair of bright blue shoes!
