Hurrah! Don your wellies, best best boho outfit and pack up your tents – Glastonbury is back. And we’ve got our fingers crossed that the rumours are true and that Blur, Bruce Springsteen and Lily Allen will all be performing this summer…
At last night’s NME awards, Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis celebrated winning ‘Best Live Event’ for last year’s festival – beating competition from the Isle of Wight and V; as well as letting slip some of the surprise lineup.
The awards, held at the Brixton Academy, were packed out with rock royalty – with Oasis winning Best British Band, and live performances with everyone from the White Lies to Franz Ferdinand. And, never ones to miss a party, Sarah Harding and Nicola Roberts of Girls Aloud were out in force with suitably rock chick outfits.
We can’t wait!
