The gorgeous Estelle was tired but elated as she spoke to us backstage tonight after her double whammy MOBO win.
The London soul sensation was nominated for a staggering five awards, and didn’t dissapoint at Wembley tonight as she performed with her record-label boss John Legend.
John Legend gave us his opinion on the US elections on the red carpet before his performance of new hit Green Light. He told t5m he was backing Obama, and felt America was ready for change.
We were backstage all night, getting some fantastic and often quite hilarious interviews!
Leona Lewis won the Best Album prize for Spirit, and although absent she was also awarded Best Video for Bleeding Love. Estelle nabbed the Best UK Female award, and Dizzee Rascal won Best Male for the second year running.
Supreme lady Mary Wilson collected the Lifetime Achievement Award for Motown Record’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
Night edits mean that we have all the best backstage and red carpet interviews going up on t5m.com and YouTube tonight. Keep checking the channel for interviews with Reverend Run, Estelle, John Legend, Jamelia, Mel B, Trevor Nelson, Tim Westwood, and some very interesting footage of the legendary Grace Jones.
