Congratulations to BRIT girl Duffy who scooped a mammoth three awards last night at the spectacular festival-inspired ceremony at Earls Court.

She won best female and best breakthrough act, as well as the covetable best album award for Rockferry.

By this, her third prize, she was clearly humbled and told the audience ‘I’m going to keep it together for this one but thank you so much.’

She was handed the BRIT by fellow countryman Tom Jones who said ‘from one Welsh person to another.’
