A man thought to be a British spy has been found dead in his bath in his flat in Pimlico, Central London, just moments away from MI6 headquarters (the Secret Intelligent Service). He was understood to be employed as Communications Officer at the Governments ‘listening post’, but it is also believed he was on secondment to the headquarters at MI6. The agent in his 30’s was reportedly found stuffed in a large sports bag, amongst a bizarre ritualistic scene of a mobile telephone and a collection of SIM cards. The victim has been described by neighbours as mild-mannered and a keen cyclist. Despite reports of his sweet nature, he was never seen to have guests to his flat, the only noises heard by the landlady being muffled sounds of cassettes, presumably part of his ‘listening post’ work. Whilst Scotland Yard have launched a murder enquiry, no arrests have yet been made.
