Barack Obama’s charisma knows no bounds! Oprah Winfrey was moved to tears by his speech, and his policies, at the Democrat convention last night.

US celebs joined forces to support Obama’s bid for presidency last night as he accepted the party’s nomination for the White House. A tearful Oprah was joined by Fergie and Jessica Alba, Susan Sarandon and will.i.am, and performances by Sheryl Crowe and Stevie Wonder added to the euphoric mood. Also in the crowd of supporters was actress Rosario Dawson. Look out for her channel, launching very soon on t5m.

Fat Pig in the West End?

The beautiful Kelly Brook has landed the leading role in hit comedy play Fat Pig. It’s her first part in a West End show, and she’s taking over the role from Gavin and Stacey star Joanna Page.

Despite the show’s title, Kelly’s playing a pretty girl rather than a porker, and starring opposite Kris Marshall.

Last time we saw Kelly she was looking radiant as ever, at the scorching Chinawhite Rock the Polo event earlier this month. See her regal entrance on t5m’s Rock the Polo channel, along with some fashion tips from stylist Arabella Boyce.

Style in the City

In a matter of weeks t5m’s Lucy Luscombe and James Tregaskes will be wrapped up in the madness that is London Fashion Week. As well as footage from the runways, look forward to some fantastic fashion articles and photo blogs from London’s fashion stars of the future! They’ll be giving you a unique take on real London fashion, from the streets of the city.

In that vein, if you find yourself at a loose end this weekend, there’s a great exhibition on at the V&A called Fashion V Sport, exploring sportswear’s relationship with contemporary fashion.

Have a good one,
