Katherine Jenkins provided the soundtrack to the Samsung Pink Ribbon High Tea event in London last week – looking dressed for the occassion in a beautiful fuschia dress!
Katherine took some time out before performing at the pink themed party to talk to t5m about her personal experience with cancer, having lost her father to lung cancer – and her mother’s work as a nurse screening women for breast cancer.
With her mother involved in this line of work, Katherine has always been careful of being breast aware, but she believes it is very important to help young women understand how to examine themselves, and is hoping that the Samsung Pink Ribbon High Tea will help to do that!
