Samsung has raised $3 million through its Breast Cancer Charity initiatives across Europe this year. Last night, charity VIPs mingled with celebrities at the Pink Ribbon Gala Dinner to celebrate a very important donation.

Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in Europe, and the event at the Sheraton Park Lane was all about raising awareness for this very important cause.

Kelly Rowland, Beverley Knight, Jasmine Guinness and Jerry Hall all spoke of their personal attachment to the cause.

After some inspiring speeches, dinner and a silent auction, Samsung presented the $3 million cheque to ambassadors from Breast Cancer Charities across 17 European countries. These charities face a constant battle to raise the funding they need, and to raise awareness for breast cancer as an issue.

‘We strive to use our profile to help raise awareness and provide continued long-term support for breast cancer charities’ said In Soo Kim, President & CEO of Samsung Electronics Europe.

The evening rounded up with fantastic performances from Kelly Rowland and Beverley Knight, a well known supporter of breast cancer charities.
