Oscar Winner Sandra Bullock has been named the highest paid actress of the past year, according to Forbes magazine.

The 46-year-old earned $56m (£35m) between June 2009 and June 2010 due to her roles in hit films such as The Proposal and The Blind Side.

In joint second place were Reese Witherspoon and Cameron Diaz who both earned a reported 32 million.
