Biologist, presenter, writer and atheist figurehead, Richard Dawkins, has released yet his new book ‘The Greatest Show on Earth’ – unsurprisingly causing equal amounts of controversy and excitement.
The Greatest Show on Earth describes the evidence for evolution by natural selection as well as discussing what he describes as the ‘educational disgrace’ that over 40% Americans dismiss evolution in favour of supernatural explanations for life on Earth.
Provocative stuff! But, wherever you stand on the issues there is a chance to listen to Mr. Dawkins himself – on the 16th September at The Logan Hall with James Harding of The Times and on the 24th November at the V&A,
