A few Fridays ago, I set about to have a perfect afternoon in Manhattan. Naturally, a few elements were required: friends, food, coffee and shopping.

This summer I was invited to visit Salon Eiji for a complimentary haircut and tour.
I confirmed my appointment downstairs via buzzer and was ushered upstairs to the fifth floor, which overlooks Madison Avenue.
