Psycho, Casablanca, Schindler's List, High Noon... I'm proud to say that in the last two weeks I FINALLY watched my first Hitchcock movie (Rear Window), my second Hitchcock movie (Vertigo), AND Citizen Kane, so I'm on a bit of a roll. Others I tend to lie about: The Godfather series, Gone With the Wind (seriously, it's like 4 hours long, cut me some slack), The Graduate, Pulp Fiction, Braveheart, and every year I lie about having seen all the Best Picture nominees (unless it's something completely random like The Reader, in which case I don't bother). It took me until the September AFTER the Oscars to finally see The Departed after I spent all awards season telling all my friends how it should win (who, by the way, had all seen it). Then I might say, "Of course, you were wonderful!" Otherwise, why lie? Might be a topic of conversation and a suggestion of something to do... "You've never seen Schindler's List?
