Jeanie Syfu takes us behind the scenes at the Tracy Reese showroom.

Known for her pretty details, great color and interesting prints, Tracy’s designs exuded effortless chic, with feminine pastal colours and simple designs.

“The clothes have a lot of layers, so the hair has to have a lot of layers,” explained Syfu. That translated to a big, textured pompadour on top, messy bun in back.

The makeup was her idea of “the Twenties, modernized” with a punky edge, glossy eyelids, dark shadow liner underneath the eyes, penciled eyebrows and pink lipstick.

A favourite with many celebrities, Tracy Reese’s designs heavily featured her favoured feminine florals, edgy animal prints and pastal colours.
