Lifetime Achiever Mary Wilson took time out backstage to sit down with t5m last night at the MOBOs.
She told us about her forthcoming Motown tour playing at Wembley, Liverpool and Newcastle to name but a few, with her fellow Motown crew.
Wilson also praised the MOBOs for the forum they give to black artists – something that she feels was strongly lacking in the industry previously. Before leaving to party the night away she admitted that John Legend had caught her eye and in her own words there is ’something that reminds me of Marvin Gaye in him’.
