Fresh from New York Fashion Week, Peaches Geldof dropped by on Live From Fashion Week to compare the two fashion weeks, and to critique Louise Goldin’s LFW show earlier in the day.
Wearing a pair of Goldin’s studded stilettoes for Topshop, Peaches explains how she found the avant garde/art installation feel of Louise’s show quite at odds with her relationship with accesible, high street brand Topshop. Comparing it to a Viktor and Rolf show, Peaches told us all about the bleache out eyebrows and fantasy makeup, as well as the conceptual designs which made up Goldin’s A/W 2010 collection.
Peaches also highlights the differences between the fashion weeks across the Atlantic, telling us that in New York it is a far more serious affair – with regimental precision, compared to the ‘eclectic’ and edgier mess, that is LFW.
But of course, Peaches is a London girl at heart – and that is where her loyalty remains!
