We caught up with Alexandra Shulman, editor of British Vogu at Fashion East’s show this London Fashion Week – to compare notes on how the week was going.
So far, Alexandra had been to Kinder Aggugini and Daks, and was preparing to see what new talent Fashion East was championing this season. She tells us that she enjoys the mix of LFW – from the big names like Jaegar and Nicole Farhi (clothes she might actually wear!) as well as the young London designers that everyone loves – including Peter Pilloto, Erdem and Christopher Kane.
Of course, as Alexandra points out, London isn’t about trends, instead it is about ‘doing you’re own thing’ and the idiosyncrasies of each designer…and we couldn’t agree more!
