We don’t like to play favourites here at t5m, so having interviewed Chris Brooke, we thought it only fair to also talk to the Brazillian half of Basso & Brooke, Bruno.
Bruno chatted to us about coming to London and why he loves the city’s endless opportunities and possibilities, as well as giving an insight into the level of research designers go into for any collection. Bruno jokes that the last six months have been a holiday for him – as he slowly got to grips with Louis XIV and the aesthetic of his reign - which rather fortunately involved several clips to the Palace of Versailles!
Not only this, but he also gives us tips on how to capture some of that romantic ‘Basso & Brooke’ attitude, which is very useful for those us who can’t afford his stunning collection…
