The infamous Henry Holland showed a collection of downtown, New York girl gang (wow!) inspired looks this season – with bandana prints, candy colours and plenty of denim, a far cry from his previous collections of acid brights and tongue in cheek fun…dare we say that the House of Holland have gone a bit mature on us this season..?

We caught up with Henry after the show to  critique his collection, and even if he does say so himself, the collection was a clear and concise concoction of textures, colours and themes  – a perfect look for a/w 2010!

Of course, it was the result of some serious hard graft. So hard in fact, that Henry got locked in his studio the night before the show (Eek) which meant he had to fashion a  lock out of some left over jewellery. Clearly, this man lives and breathes fashion.

Tonight Mr. Holland will be co-hosting the Elle Style awards with ed-in-chief Lorraine Candy, and sadly for us wouldn’t give any insider info…
