Oh to share in some of those stylish Ling genes! Our backstage roving reporter Bip and her fashion illustrator/designer mother Tanya dropped by the LFFW studio to exchange notes and bring us up to speed on all the latest fashion week news.
Bip models one of her mothers creations – a silk, bell shaped dress splattered with paint from Tanya’s Veryta range – which looks fabulous with it’s hand painted detail. All of the items Tanya designs for Veryta are one off pieces – and it seems that the painted dress is something of a signature item – with Tanya including one in her previous collection too.
As a world famous fashion illustrator, Tanya has worked for the likes of Christian Lacroix, as well as British Vogue and US Elle, and she explains that all of this experience continues to influence her work…
