We certainly had high expectations for the collection, a favourite of Miss Kate Middleton, who chose an Issa dress for the announcement of her engagement and if being heralded by royalty was not enough, Issa also had the likes of Yasmin Le Bon and Andrea Dellal gracing the catwalk, no mean feat I’m assured. All said, the show was set to be a roaring success from the outset.

The tone was instantly set when Candi Staton’s fantastic “Young heart’s run free” began to play and the models strode out onto a wide, well-lit catwalk. Daniella Helayel conquered her personal goal, of making the perfect dress yet again with this latest collection of not only beautifully elegant but fun and flirty garments.

The colours were beautifully autumnal with deep reds, greens, browns and oranges, complemented by beautifully bronzed skin. The classic wrap and low cut gathering, as always, were present, mixed in with bold patterns; chain and snake print and block coloured opaque tights.

The feminine physique was emphasised throughout with slim belts and nipped in waistlines, as well as luxurious figure hugging, floor length gowns ideal for any royal event. Beautiful gold chain, diamond shaped necklaces added extra elegance to the looks, which were finished off with long gloves and fun hats. Yasmin and Andrea were an incredible addition to the show, proving that Issa can transcend wonderfully through the generations. The show was a triumph.
