Relive the Air Issa experience here – with all the catwalk looks – from the Jackie-O style headscarves and starlet sunglasses, to the floor length red carpet style gowns.

With the collection inspired by NYLON (New York and London), pieces were edgy and urban, but still chic, with graphic prints and daring cuts.

With the royal seal of approval from Princess Beatrice and X Factor winner Alexandra Burke raving about the collection – Issa’s more urban took on A/W 2010 has certainly not failed to impress!

Accompanied by a rave style soundtrack, Issa London attracted some serious A Listers to the front row – with the likes of Princess Beatrice and Alexandra Burke all lusting after the collection!

We also caught up with Daniella Helayel, the woman behind the label, who talked us through the inspiration for the collection.

Having walked the runway for Fashion For Relief Haiti earlier in the week,  Alexandra told us she has a new found respect for runway models, having experienced the backstage mayhem herself. However, it has been such a busy week for the X Factor winner that she couldn’t remember who she wore… !

Clearly a huge fan of the label, Alexandra describes herself as the ultimate Issa girl – having worn many of the label’s creation during her time on the X Factor - that’s what we call a winning formula…

Daniella tells us that the inspiration behind her collection was ‘Ny-Lon’, New York and London, and that she wanted to create a city collection – with more graphic prints, and a harder feel, whilst at the same time remaining chic and feminine.

The look was finished off with some aviation inspired headscarves and essential winter sunglasses – all wrapped around Lady GaGa inspired statement hair…

An essence of London with the harder edge of New York, Issa London’s collection has got us all looking forward to next season.

Looking beautiful in an Issa London design, Princess Beatrice tells how impressed she is that each and every season at the label is entirely different – which is quite a skill.

Asked to name her favourite pieces, Princess Beatrice rightfully struggled, naming ‘dresses, bags  and shoes’ as her must have items – and we have to agree too.

With an aviation feel to the collection and the show, Princess Beatrice tells us that everyone should look when they fly – and with Issa’s forthcoming collection, that just got a lot easier!

So t5m caught up with MaxFactor Creative Director and international make up guru, Pat McGrath backstage at Issa, as she prepared the likes of Naomi Campbell and Chanel Iman for their catwalk moment.

The Issa collection was inspired by a tropical storm – think deep greens, rich golds, molten metallics and blacks and greys – and Pat transferred this theme into the make up, with heavy, rich eye colour, sweeping black eyeliner and thick, dramatic eyelashes. Pat has been using MaxFactor ‘Lash Effect’ mascara, which she credits with creating the false eyelash effect on her models! She then compliments this eye make up with a simple ‘melon’ shade of nude and shimmering lip gloss.Pat even gives us tips on how to recreate this dramatic look at home – advising us to go easy on the eyeliner, but to experiment with colour!

Asked to pick out her favourite trend from the shows so far, and Pat is torn between the romantic look we’ve seen at Louise Goldin and Jasper Conran, and the more, edgy and powerful looks at House of Holland and Issa herself…

Daniella jokes that she wishes she could sit in the front row of her shows and admire all of her hardwork, rather than standing in the back and making sure all the models are dressed!

We managed to spot some fabulous colours whilst we were backstage – including lots of blacks, whites and gunmetals – as well as more tropical yellows and greens – Daniella explains that her inspiration for this season was the Grace Jones track, Hurricane, and that she wanted to create a hurricane effect collection.

And, with Naomi Campbell and Chanel Iman modelling, Daniella has certainly whipped up a storm.
