Daphne Guinness first celeb spotted wearing Alexander McQueen "Armadillo" shoes.
Now I’m a vertically challenged girl and I LOVE heels (like every fashionista worth her skinny jeans) but I have to hold my hands up and say why… why… why… would you EVER buy these?
Alexander McQueen displayed them at his spring/summer Paris show. He’s known for his creative rebellion but maybe he’s gone a step too far this time?
Dubbed the “Armadillos” Lady Gaga was the first celeb to grab a pair and wore them on her latest video “Bad Romance”. But Daphne Guinness is the first celeb to actually have the guts to walk down the red carpet in them. I don’t know anyone that could feasibly walk in these- surely not even Victoria Beckham could hobble from her chauffeur driven limo to Cipriani without breaking her neck??!!!!
What do you think? Fancy wearing these on a night out?

I LOVE THEM. I dont know who wore them better, Lady GaGa or Daphne Guinness, but they are just wonderful…how fashion should be! Utterly surreal, ridiculous and constantly treading that fine line between ugly / beauty. Art or clothes?!
