I loved Sonia Rykiel’s lingerie collection for H&M last autumn and now the Parisian designer has worked her knitwear magic for the high street giant.
Knitwear is what Rykiel does best, and this capsule collection does not disappoint. It’s bursting with sweater dresses, knitted bejewelled leggings, diamante-studded berets and bracelets in bright, eye-catching stripes and block colours such as canary yellow, mustard, red, orange and lots of pink.
It’s also the first time a guest designer collaboration includes children. Little girls aged 18 months to 8 years can get into the spirit of Sonia Rykiel with multi-striped tights, colourful sweaters and sweatshirts bearing the stamp of the ‘Reine du Tricot’ (Queen of Knits).
The collection hits stores Saturday 20th February.
