Just when we try to curb both our internet usage and spending habits, along comes another revelation to tempt us into indulging both even more.
One of our fave magazines, Elle, has launched three new channels to it’s website – ‘Fashion’, ‘Style’, and ‘Shop’ to sit alongside existing channels such as ‘News’, ‘StarStyle’ and ‘Catwalk’.
The ‘Fashion’ channel includes features such as ‘Ask the experts’, which allows readers to ask Elle’s editors for daily fashion advice. The ‘Style’ channel includes occasion-focused style advice on how to create an outfit for work, weddings, festivals and parties.
‘Shop’, meanwhile, sees our wallets preparing to groan more than they do already, by showing visitors what items are ‘in store this week’. Users can then click through on the item and be re-directed to the corresponding website to place an order.
