Who would you like to share a coffee with? According to coffee experts DeLonghi, Brits are statistically most likely to want to chat to a politician, with 39% opting for US President Barack Obama, 22% choosing Boris Johnson and 16% preferring David Cameron as their coffee mate of choice, beating A-listers including David Beckham (11%) and Simon Cowell (15%).
However, when it comes to the ladies, home grown talent featured prominently in the list with Cheryl Cole (17%), Lily Allen and Victoria Beckham (both 11%), and Emma Watson (9%) leading the way.
To celebrate these findings, DeLonghi have commissioned the world renowned coffee artist Søren Stiller Markussen to create ‘latte etchings’ of these people we most talk about over a cup of coffee, with Richard Foster capturing the artwork in a series of exlusive photographs.
Using just chocolate and milk-foam, Søren recreates some of the world’s most famous faces in the world’s most delicious coffee.

Interesting to see no one talks about Gordon Brown! I often find myself taking about him over coffee, normally not in as good a light as i suspect people are talking about Obama!
I’m not surprised people talk about Barack over coffee… saving the Beckhams for pints!
Interesting stuff though – wish I could be so creative with a beverage

I used to work in a bar with lots of struggling artists. Making lattes was the closest we’d get to something creative – this takes it to new extremes though!
